Job Description
Overview We're on the lookout for a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for keeping our facilities running smoothly and efficiently. Whether it's troubleshooting equipment, performing repairs, or conducting routine maintenance, your expertise will help ensure a safe, functional environment for everyone. Duties Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of equipment, including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and appliances to ensure optimal operation. Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately. Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems and building infrastructure to identify potential problems before they escalate. Troubleshoot HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Assist with installation projects related to mechanical equipment or construction upgrades. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Support team leadership by mentoring junior technicians and contributing to a collaborative maintenance environment. Complete PM Orders and answer calls for production mechanical issues. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R, refrigeration, or mechanical systems. Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures. Knowledge of HVAC systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and general mechanical knowledge. Experience in construction or building maintenance is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to clearly report issues and collaborate effectively with colleagues. •3rd SHIFT, 10pm-6am M-F Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
