Air Duct Cleaning Technician Aardvark Residential and Commercial Services - 1.5 Grandview, MO Job Details Full-time $50,000 - $60,000 a year 22 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Job Summary The HVAC Cleaning Technician is responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining residential and commercial HVAC air duct systems and dryer vents. This role ensures systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards while delivering excellent customer service. Duties HVAC & Air Duct Cleaning Perform air duct cleaning services using specialized vacuum and agitation equipment Clean dryer vents to reduce fire hazards and improve airflow Inspect HVAC systems for debris buildup, blockages, or potential safety concerns Document before-and-after conditions with photos General Duties Safely operate ladders, roof access equipment, vacuums, and power tools Follow OSHA and company safety standards at all times Maintain clean and organized job sites Communicate professionally with customers regarding findings and services performed Complete service reports and required documentation accurately Assist team members on larger repair or cleaning projects Clean dryer vents to reduce fire hazards and improve airflow Inspect HVAC systems for debris buildup, blockages, or potential safety concerns Operate camera, iPad, and office software Document before-and-after conditions with photos Qualifications Experience in HVAC cleaning or related trades preferred but not required Experience using hand tools and power tools in a service environment Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces Comfortable working on rooftops and using ladders Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Preferred Certifications (Not Required) NADCA (National Air Duct Cleaners Association) Certification OSHA 10 or 30 Skills & Attributes Dependable and punctual Strong problem-solving skills Customer-focused mindset Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional appearance and communication Experience Proven experience as a Service Technician in construction or related fields. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience. Mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills will ensure success in this role.
