The City of Grandview is hiring a Maintenance Worker - Sewer to help maintain critical infrastructure that keeps our community running. This is a hands-on position with variety, stability, and opportunities to grow your skills. What You'll Do Clean and maintain sewer lines and manholes Operate light, medium, and heavy-duty equipment Respond to emergencies, including floods and snow events Perform general Public Works maintenance (mowing, trimming, repairs) Assist with facility maintenance and inspections Participate in on-call rotation and snow response The Ideal Candidate You're someone who: Likes working outdoors and staying active Can operate equipment safely and responsibly Is dependable and ready for emergency response work Works well with a team Takes pride in maintaining public infrastructure Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to obtain Class A CDL with air brake & tanker endorsements within 90 days Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and physical Preferred CDL license Public Works or sewer maintenance experience Heavy equipment experience Work Environment This is a hands-on, outdoor position that involves physical work, equipment operation, and working in all weather conditions.
