Peak Lakes, LLC | Neosho, Missouri $18-$22/hour | Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week | Full Benefits + 401(k) Peak Lakes, LLC is looking for a dependable, motivated Facility Maintenance & Sanitation Technician to join our growing team. This is more than a cleaning position . This person will have an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, well-functioning animal-care facility and supporting the health and welfare of the animals in our care. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work—someone who notices when something needs attention, takes pride in keeping a facility in excellent condition, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and solve problems. For the right person, this position also offers an opportunity to grow into greater facility and maintenance responsibility as Peak Lakes grows.

$18-$22 per hour , based on experience and qualifications 40 hours per week Full benefits package 401(k) Stable, year-round employment Opportunity for advancement and increased responsibility The regular position is 40 hours per week. Some weekend work may occasionally be required based on animal-care and facility needs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Responsibilities will include: Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of animal housing and care areas Clean and disinfect tubs, equipment, floors, walls, work areas, and other surfaces Follow established sanitation, disinfecting, and biosecurity procedures Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure chemicals and supplies are properly stored and stocked Perform routine facility inspections Identify maintenance issues before they become larger problems Complete basic maintenance and minor repairs Assist with plumbing fixtures, drains, doors, lighting, shelving, equipment, and other facility components Perform and document preventative maintenance Maintain clean and organized storage, utility, and work areas Assist with grounds and exterior facility upkeep Coordinate with management on larger maintenance or equipment issues Maintain sanitation and maintenance records Work with animal-care staff to maintain high facility standards Help identify better, safer, and more efficient ways of maintaining the facility

A strong candidate will be:
Dependable and punctual Detail-oriented and organized Comfortable working around animals Comfortable performing physically demanding work Mechanically inclined Able to use basic hand and power tools Capable of working independently without constant supervision Able to follow written procedures and safety protocols Willing to learn proper sanitation and biosecurity practices Someone who takes pride in leaving things better than they found them Experience in facility maintenance, animal care, kennels, veterinary facilities, agriculture, sanitation, manufacturing, property maintenance, construction, or a skilled trade is helpful, but we're willing to train the right person.
