C. Bennett Building Supply, Inc. O'Fallon, MO Heavy Glass and Shower Door Installer Full-Time | $20 - $25/hour based on experience
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Some flexibility is needed, as jobs occasionally run longer than expected and some weekend work may be required. Overtime is paid for all time worked beyond 40 hours per week. The Role C. Bennett is looking for an experienced Heavy Glass and Shower Door Installer to join our Installation Team. This skilled labor position is responsible for installing mirrors, shower doors, and wire and melamine shelving in customers' homes with excellent attention to detail. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in a job well done, and is committed to representing the company professionally on every job site. Responsibilities Install heavy glass shower doors, traditional shower doors, mirrors, bath accessories, and wire and melamine shelving in customers' homes Support the Sales team by completing installations to specification and to the customer's satisfaction Interact daily with customers, superintendents, and co-workers in a team-oriented, collaborative way Work independently and/or alongside a lead installing technician Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area on every job site Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times while representing the company Pay close attention to surroundings to keep yourself and others safe on the job Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, the Sales team, and other departments to ensure a smooth installation experience Work occasional extended hours or weekends as job schedules require What We're Looking For A great attitude Attention to detail and a commitment to doing things the right way Some construction experience is a plus - the rest will be taught Willingness and ability to travel out of town for up to 1 week at a time Strong communication skills; this role requires continual interaction with customers, vendors, and co-workers Professional rapport and appearance with clients Ability to regularly lift 90 pounds and up, and to use hand tools, power tools, and read a tape measure accurately Valid driver's license and a good driving record Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to handle jobs that run longer than expected Punctual, reliable, and takes pride in a job well done Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Positive, team-first attitude with a commitment to safety and professionalism Benefits Compensation - starting pay dependent on experience 401(k) with match up to 4% Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) 8.5 paid holidays Paid training Bonus programs About C. Pay:
