Duties Measure and assess installation areas for windows and doors to ensure proper fit and alignment. Install windows and doors according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes. Perform necessary carpentry work, including trim carpentry, to enhance the aesthetic appeal of installations. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the installation process. Collaborate with other team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Conduct glass installation with precision, ensuring durability and safety standards are met. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation, making adjustments as necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills Proficiency in carpentry techniques and general maintenance person skills. Experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction and remodeling projects. Knowledge of glass installation processes and best practices. Strong understanding of construction site protocols, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Ability to build and fabricate custom solutions for unique installation challenges.
