Maintenance Technician - Eastern Division WOCO Transportation Office - Truesdale, MO 63380 Apply Overview Position Type Maintenance Apply Description We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our facilities, equipment, and operations running safely and efficiently. This position performs a variety of maintenance, repair, construction, and property upkeep duties across company locations. From troubleshooting equipment and completing repairs to tackling facility projects and preventive maintenance, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working independently in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair facility systems, equipment, and machinery across company locations. Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance to minimize downtime and keep operations running safely. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders. Complete general facility and construction projects, including drywall, painting, flooring, tile work, cabinetry, and structural repairs. Perform outdoor and property maintenance, including snow removal, salting, mowing, brush cutting, lot cleaning, and skid loader work. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, electrical meters, and material-handling equipment. Prioritize maintenance needs based on safety, urgency, and operational impact. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas while following company safety procedures. Identify and communicate significant repair, safety, or security concerns to leadership. Assist with construction, site preparation, and other facility projects as needed. What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to diagnose problems and determine practical, effective solutions. Experience working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and respond to changing operational needs. Strong communication, organization, and time management skills. Comfortable learning and working with technology and evolving equipment. Willingness to perform hands-on work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments. A dependable, safety-focused approach with the ability to work with urgency when needed Qualifications High school diploma or GED required, along with completion of a recognized craft apprenticeship or an equivalent combination of technical education and production maintenance experience Valid Class A CDL license required Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred, including hands-on knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial systems Basic PLC and HVAC experience preferred but not required Share job details to
