Maintenance Technician
Job Description
AFCO Millwork Products, is looking for an energetic, creative, proven professional to join our production team as a Maintenance Technician for our building products line headquartered in Olive Branch, MS.
Requirements:
Confers with department manager to resolve maintenances tasks on machines. Grow/Learn knowledge to help identify and assist with continuous improvements. Performs routine maintenance tasks on machines as required. Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools/equipment, conveyor systems, minor electrical components, and production machines. Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical device in operation, listening, and using precision measuring equipment to check tolerances. Conserve maintenance resources by using/reusing equipment and supplies as needed. Develops, maintains, and controls procedures related to his/her areas of responsibility. Ensures that equipment and facilities are maintained and kept in top operating condition. Works within the guidelines of the quality program, including drawings and procedures. Insures good housekeeping in work area. Maintains a positive work atmosphere. Reports problems or accidents to management immediately. Always gives consideration to safety on each job and abides by all company safety rules, policies, and procedures. Performs related work as required.PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Able to read, write, add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Able to read and use micrometers, calipers, scales, and other measuring devices. PLC Knowledge a plusExperience:
