Qualifications:
1. Experience with rubber mixers, roller mills, belt and chain conveyers. 2. Requires the ability to operate a forklift after receiving training. 3. Requires the ability to read blueprints as needed. 4. Equipment maintenance. 5. Basic knowledge of safety practices, including use of safety harness and lifts. 6. Ability to use power tools. 7. Attention to detail. 8. High school diploma or GED is required (experience may be substituted as determined by the GM)
Primary Duties:
The primary duties of the technician are (but not limited to) the following: 1. Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements. 2. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments and keeping downtime to a minimum. 3. Inform Supervisor/Manager as soon as possible when parts are needed so that they can be promptly ordered. 4. Fabrication, including plasma cutting 5. Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. 6. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. 7. Fill in on production floor positions as needed. 8. Follow all safety procedures. 9. Help to ensure that other Associates are working in a safe manner. 10. Participate in the continuous improvement process. 11. Experience with lockout tag out procedures 12. Ability to climb and perform jobs on top of duct system equipment 13. Perform building and grounds maintenance 14. All other duties as assigned. 15. Know and implement 5'
S Pay:
$19.50 - $25.00 per hour
