Job Overview Join our dynamic facilities maintenance team as an experienced Maintenance Technician, dedicated to ensuring the upkeep of a beautiful historic campus with live-in residences. In this Full-Time role, you will perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and support the ongoing functionality of the building's systems. Your expertise will help create a clean, safe, and efficient environment for staff, patients, and visitors alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and facilities management skills in a fast-paced senior living setting. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including basic repair and maintenance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and mechanical equipment. Boiler experience is a big plus! Perform repairs and troubleshooting using schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals to identify issues accurately. Execute repair and residential painting projects to maintain the facility's appearance and structural integrity. Assist with supervising maintenance staff or contractors during large projects or complex repairs. Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations while performing maintenance activities. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or general building repair, preferably within residential, multi-family units or historic buildings. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiar with schematics and troubleshooting electrical systems. Skilled in residential painting, and basic carpentry tasks. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints effectively. Excellent customer service skills with clear communication in English; capable of supervising or leading maintenance teams when necessary. Valid driver's license and be able to operate a vehicle.
