Job Description
We are looking for a dependable, hands-on professional to help keep our property running smoothly and our guest experience at a high standard. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, responds promptly to service needs, and works well both independently and as part of a team. What You Will Do Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and courteous manner. Inspect equipment, systems, and facilities to identify needed repairs or safety concerns. Complete basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general repair work as assigned. Assist with preventive maintenance programs to help reduce downtime and support property standards. Maintains or assists in maintaining and monitoring pools and water features. Document work performed, parts used, and issues identified. Work closely with housekeeping and front desk teams to support guest satisfaction. Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and property standards. Maintain tools, equipment, and storage areas in an organized and secure condition. Support emergency response and on-call needs when required. What We Are Looking For Prior experience in building maintenance, facilities repair, hospitality maintenance, or a related field. Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair work. Ability to troubleshoot issues and determine practical solutions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and complete tasks efficiently. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing needs. Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality setting. Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems or work order software. Technical certifications or vocational training in a related trade. Knowledge of safety standards and local building codes.
