WORK AREA
Interior of Facility PURPOSE:
Maintains clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas. Observes proper cleaning techniques. Maintains economical use of supplies.
WORKING HOURS
Hours may fluctuate depending on job assignments and needs of the facility.
WORKING CONDITIONS
On feet most of work time. Pushes, pulls, lifts cleaning supplies and equipment. Potential exposure when entering resident areas. Subject to reactions from heavy dust or housekeeping disinfecting solutions.

guidelines and safeguard protected health information.
DUTIES:
Dry mops, wet mops, sweeps. Performs emergency housekeeping as needed. Strips floors and refinishes floors as needed. Keeps janitor closets neat and clean. Keeps mops and other supplies clean after each use. Stores equipment in proper areas. Reports supply and equipment needs for replenishing. Adheres to safety rules of the facility. Utilizes proper care and use of equipment. Performs other duties as assigned.
