Join Our Team as an Hotel Maintenance Technician/Engineer at the Hilton Garden Inn Raleigh Cary and Doubletree Raleigh Cary! Are you a skilled troubleshooter who takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship and wants to oversee the physical health of a premium hotel property? At Parks Hospitality Group , we are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineer to join our dedicated team. In this key role, you will be the go-to technical expert on the floor-responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and executing a wide variety of skilled maintenance and repair tasks. Working closely with our Chief Engineer, you will take ownership of our facilities to keep our property, equipment, and guest-facing systems running in peak condition. Do:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing repairs, electrical work, and HVAC system maintenance. Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, performing repairs as needed to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and equipment maintenance schedules. Assist with maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, and reorder items as needed. Respond to guest requests for maintenance assistance in a timely and professional manner. Ensure compliance with all safety and security regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials and equipment. Assist in training and mentoring other maintenance staff as needed. Need:
A high school diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance or construction-related field, preferably in a hotel environment. Solid understanding of building maintenance principles and practices. Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
