Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair appliance issues, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Install, troubleshoot, and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, dishwashers, and other appliances critical to daily operations. Operate company vehicles safely for maintenance tasks across multiple sites while adhering to all safety protocols. Utilize mechanical knowledge to repair or replace faulty parts on complex systems including HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration). Read and interpret schematics to accurately identify issues and execute repairs efficiently. Lead small maintenance projects or team efforts when necessary, demonstrating leadership in problem-solving and task management. Maintain detailed records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and inspections in compliance with company procedures. Experience Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, or mechanical systems maintenance. Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex equipment issues. Hands-on experience with HVAC & appliance technology including installation, repair, and routine maintenance. Knowledge of maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) practices within construction or industrial environments. Familiarity with kitchen equipment maintenance and appliance installation is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience in equipment repair across various systems such as air conditioning units and mechanical systems. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical team members or clients. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely in different settings.
