Job Description

Maintenance Team Member Job Summary The Maintenance Team member performs general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep on various properties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs Plans repair work using building's blueprints or equipment manual as needed Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician; e.g., repairing drywall, painting, repairing doors and other building fixtures Performs routine maintenance on building systems Cleans and assists with upkeep of facilities Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance This list does not include all duties that may be assigned Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Must be over 18 Must be able to pass a background check Related experience preferred Must have valid driver's license and clean record On-the-job training offered Skills Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers Knowledge of general carpentry and repair Ability to use hand tools and power tools Excellent organizational and time management skills Working Conditions Environments can change significantly as maintenance work is performed both in and out of doors at various locations. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods standing and walking Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds Kitty Hawk Kites, Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
