Position Summary Maintenance Technicians are responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and operational readiness of facility infrastructure, production machinery, and utility systems. This role requires strict adherence to safety and food safety protocols inherent in a highly regulated environment. The roles are tiered to reflect a progression from foundational technical tasks to advanced system diagnostics and shift-level technical coordination. Section 1: Core Responsibilities & Universal Requirements (All Tiers) The following duties and requirements are foundational and apply to all Maintenance Technician Tiers. Safety, Quality, and Compliance Execute all job duties in a manner that strictly supports plant safety, food safety, quality, and environmental standards. Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulatory standards (e.g., FDA/cGMP, OSHA) applicable to maintenance within a food manufacturing environment. Strictly adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during all repair and maintenance activities. Maintain sanitary conditions in work areas and during repairs to prevent cross-contamination (e.g., tool accountability and sanitation standards). Don all company-specified Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) prior to performing work. Technical Maintenance and Operational Support Perform routine and extensive Preventative Maintenance (PM) procedures on building mechanical equipment, production machinery, and utility systems on a scheduled basis. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance checklists and maintain accurate records of all scheduled and unscheduled activities. Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and verify operational readiness. Perform minor facility maintenance (e.g., repairs to windows, doors, locks, painting, and drywall). Willingly support emergency maintenance needs and, when able, offer flexibility for after-hours or weekend assistance. Oversee and maintain the general operational integrity of all facility equipment and machinery.

Foundational Requirements and Expectations Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite) is required.

Accuracy, attention to detail, reliability, sound judgment, basic mathematics, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Pay:

$21.50 - $25.50 per hour
