Job Description
Piedmont Crossing, a vibrant continuing care retirement community dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents, is seeking a dynamic and passionate and knowledgeable Maintenance Technician to join our team. Piedmont Crossing is a premier retirement community located in the picturesque Davidson County, North Carolina. We offer a blend of small-town charm and access to the amenities of nearby cities like Greensboro, High Point, and Winston-Salem.
Maintenance Tech IIThe Maintenance Technician II provides assistance in maintaining the property, plant and equipment of the facility.
Maintains mechanical and electrical equipment in operable conditions.
Performs maintenance tasks in accordance with procedures and preventative maintenance schedule.
Responds to maintenance requests by Residents and Staff.
Maintains storage and mechanical areas in clean, orderly manner.
Assists in removal of trash and debris.
Maintains interior and exterior of all buildings.
Maintains inventory of maintenance supplies.
Constructs, repairs and maintains structures; such as, equipment, partitions and other parts of buildings, using hand and power tools according to written and oral instructions.
Performs electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, plaster, repairs and plumbing tasks as directed.
Performs periodic inspections of property, plant and equipment.
Performs landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks including mowing, hedging, weeding, spreading fertilizer, mulch, sowing grass, setting out plants, watering, trimming of trees and shrubs.
Participates in safety, fire control, security and other matters related to Life and Safety Codes.
Assists in maintaining, cleaning and inspecting company motor vehicles.
Formal education in a trade related field such as HVAC, Electrical Installation and Maintenance required (requirement may be waived for individuals with extensive on the job experience).
A minimum of two years experience in the health care setting required.
Valid driver's license, and ability to meet EveryAge's auto insurance carrier's standards for coverage.

Other Qualifications:
