Job Description

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our client in Thomasville, NC. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience with skills in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, machine troubleshooting and repair, industrial equipment installation, and welding. Candidates should be comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial environment and performing both diagnostic and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime. Shift(s)
Available:
7:30am-7:30pm OR 7:30pm-7:30am, 2-2-3 schedule
Pay Range:
$28-32+/hr. (pay depends on experience) Direct Hire Responsibilities Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and assigned repair tasks on industrial machinery, building systems, and facility equipment. Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing equipment, workshops, and outdoor areas to ensure optimal performance. Assist with electrical repairs, PLC troubleshooting, low voltage applications, and other maintenance tasks in compliance with safety codes and best practices. Assist in the installation, adjustment, and upgrades of building systems and industrial equipment. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and equipment replacement data. Promptly report major repair needs or equipment upgrade requirements to management. Respond quickly to maintenance requests, minimizing downtime and ensuring operational efficiency. Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and identify opportunities for cost savings. Conduct regular inspections to identify safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or potential issues. Ensure all new installations and repairs comply with safety regulations and building codes. Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe at all times. Demonstrate strong multi-skill capabilities across mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and OSHA safety standards. Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of proven experience in the industrial maintenance field. Strong troubleshooting skills with pneumatics, hydraulics, gear pumps, motors, and preventative maintenance (PM) procedures. Ability to work on-call and overtime as needed. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade certifications preferred.
