Do you enjoy figuring out what's wrong, fixing it, and moving on to the next challenge? Even better—would you like a job where no two days are exactly the same AND you only work four days a week? We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain two neighboring Fargo hotels: Four Points by Sheraton Fargo Medical Center and Hampton Inn & Suites Fargo Medical Center . You'll spend approximately two days each week at each hotel , giving you plenty of variety while still working with one team. The Schedule Here's one of the best parts: Four days ON. Three days OFF. Every week.

Your regular schedule will be:

Thursday

• starting at 8:00 AM Friday
• starting at 8:00 AM Saturday
• starting at 8:00 AM Sunday
• starting at 8:00 AM And we're offering some flexibility: Want a 32-hour workweek?

Work four 8-hour shifts. Want 40 hours? Work four 10-hour shifts. Either way, you'll have Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday off every week! The position will generally be split between our two hotels, with approximately two shifts per week at Hampton Inn & Suites and two shifts per week at Four Points by Sheraton. What You'll Be Doing Hotels have a little bit of everything—which means you'll never spend your entire day doing the same thing.

Your responsibilities may include:

Completing general hotel repairs and preventive maintenance Troubleshooting guest room maintenance issues Basic plumbing repairs Basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs

HVAC/PTAC

troubleshooting and maintenance Repairing doors, locks, hardware, furniture, fixtures, and equipment Painting, patching, caulking, and completing general cosmetic repairs Performing preventive maintenance in guest rooms and public areas Maintaining pool and mechanical areas as assigned Responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel departments Identifying potential problems before they become bigger problems Maintaining organized maintenance areas, tools, equipment, and supplies Assisting with exterior maintenance, snow removal, and seasonal projects Working with outside vendors when necessary Following hotel safety procedures and maintaining a safe environment for our guests and team members Basically, if something is leaking, squeaking, blinking, sticking, dripping, or just plain not working like it should , there's a pretty good chance we'll be calling you. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: ✔ Is dependable and shows up when scheduled ✔ Enjoys troubleshooting and solving problems ✔ Is comfortable working independently ✔ Takes pride in doing things correctly ✔ Notices problems instead of walking past them ✔ Can prioritize when several things need attention at once ✔ Communicates well with guests, coworkers, and management ✔ Is willing to jump in and help wherever needed Previous hotel maintenance experience is great, but it's not the only background we're interested in. Experience in apartment maintenance, facilities, construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, property maintenance, or general repair work can all translate well into this position. The Physical Stuff This is a hands-on position, so you'll need to be comfortable: Standing and walking for extended periods Bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and climbing Using ladders and hand/power tools Lifting and carrying equipment and supplies Pushing and pulling equipment Working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Working in mechanical areas and other hotel spaces Performing physical repair and maintenance tasks throughout your shift Two Hotels = Double the Travel Perks Here's something pretty unique about this position: You'll be working at both a Marriott and a Hilton hotel , which means eligible team members can enjoy hotel employee travel discounts with both brands!
