We are actively looking for fun, hardworking Maintenance Technicians to join our team here at Meridian Property Management. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing on-site maintenance for twinhomes, townhomes and houses, contributing to resident satisfaction and retention.

Essential Functions:

• Complete various work orders as assigned in a timely fashion, prioritizing jobs and communicating with team members and residents along the way.
• Troubleshoot and repair items in apartments, townhomes, houses and common areas.
• While on-call, respond to 24/7 emergency maintenance calls (rotating basis 1-2 rotations every 2 months).
• Communicate effectively through AppFolio (property management software), email, phone calls, texts and in-person opportunities.
• Perform assigned work in an assigned territory with a focus on efficiency, process, safety and resident satisfaction.

Preferred Knowledge/ Skill/ Abilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Attention to time management and organizational skills.
• Maintain professional image.
• Ability to use smartphone and/or tablet as main communication and reporting device.
• Trustworthy to work independently with limited supervision, but also willing to be a team player.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in various areas of electrical, heating, plumbing, appliance, dry-wall repair and/or general repairs. _We are willing to train if there are skill gaps._
• Must be able to lift 75lbs
• Valid Driver's License and Clean MVP required.
• Must pass a background check.
