Job Description

Essential Functions:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and related manufacturing systems. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment issues. Troubleshoot machine faults and determine root causes of equipment failures. Repair or replace components such as motors, bearings, belts, pumps, sensors, switches, valves and other machine components. Read and interpret equipment manuals, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and technical documentation. Assist with installation, setup, relocation and commissioning of machining equipment. Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend improvements to increase reliability and machine uptime. Work closely with machinists, production personnel, engineering and other maintenance team members to resolve equipment issues. Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety procedures. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of technical maintenance experience that includes maintaining or repairing CNC machines, machine tools or industrial manufacturing equipment, as well as working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
