Job Title:

Maintenance Technician II Job Description As a Maintenance Technician II, you will leverage your expertise to support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. Responsibilities Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more. Maintain positive working relationships across all of the Operations facility. Track and store department inventory. Move up to 49 lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation. Essential Skills High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls. 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment. 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures. 1+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading. 1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles. Ability to use a multimeter. Additional Skills & Qualifications Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field. 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field. Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards. Project Management experience. Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Experience with robotic operation and maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to reach arms above head, kneel, squat, and climb steps/ladders. You will frequently lift a maximum of 50 lbs of equipment and perform tasks wearing a mask, face shield, and composite-toed boots. The job involves regular movement between departments, floors, and properties, with walking distances of 6 to 12 miles per day. The work environment has fluctuating temperatures, and you will be required to type on a computer or stand-up desk for 1-2 hours per day. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Papillion, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
