Job Description

Key HVAC is an established, family-owned HVAC company seeking a motivated and dependable Sheet Metal Installer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal duct systems and HVAC components for residential projects. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team while delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Responsibilities Install sheet metal ductwork, fittings, hangers, and HVAC components for residential heating and cooling systems. Measure, cut, fabricate, assemble and insulate sheet metal according to blueprints, job specifications, and manufacturer requirements. Install and seal duct systems to ensure proper airflow and system efficiency. Read and interpret blueprints, layout drawings, and technical specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication equipment safely and effectively. Follow all safety procedures and company standards while working on job sites. Maintain a clean and organized work area and company vehicle. Communicate professionally with homeowners, coworkers, and supervisors. Maintain accurate records of materials used, work completed, and job progress. Assist with troubleshooting and resolving installation issues as needed. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3 year experience in sheet metal installation, ductwork fabrication, or HVAC installation preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Knowledge of HVAC duct systems and sheet metal installation practices. Experience using sheet metal hand tools, power tools, brakes, shears, and related equipment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently. Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and perform manual labor throughout the day. Valid driver's license required. Work van and fuel card provided.
