The Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Maintenance Manager regarding maintenance duties along with machinery maintenance. This position requires the ability to multitask and be self-motivated while in compliance with the standards of wholesomeness, hygiene, health & safety at work. See something say something.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Day to day maintenance work on equipment
• Machine set up
• Machine change overs
• Perform assigned preventative maintenance
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Electrical & Mechanical experience required
• The ability to work well with your hands.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to maneuver through Basic computer programs

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

:

• Basic Principles, Equipment, Methods and Materials used in building and grounds maintenance activities.
• Operation and maintenance of a variety of hand, power and shop tools used in a variety of trade areas.
• Safe work methods and safety regulations pertaining to the work.
• Basic record keeping practices.
• Communicating effectively in oral and written forms .

Able to wear safety toe shoes or boots

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

:

• Safely using and maintaining hand and power tools related to the work.
• Performing general and technical maintenance work, individually or as a member of a crew, in various areas.
• Safely operating construction equipment and vehicles.
• Reading and interpreting plans and instructions.
• Understanding and following oral and written directions.
