Job Description
Take Pride in Doing Things Right? Reno Management is looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Property Maintenance Technician to help maintain our growing portfolio of residential properties throughout Greater Lowell and Southern New Hampshire. This position is for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, solving different problems every day, and completing work properly—not simply applying a temporary fix and moving on. One day may involve diagnosing a plumbing or heating issue. The next could include carpentry, drywall repair, an appliance problem, preventive maintenance, or completing an apartment turnover. The work changes from day to day, but our standard does not. We want someone who takes ownership, works independently, treats residents professionally, and is proud of the finished product. Responsibilities Diagnose maintenance problems and determine the correct repair Complete general plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, hardware, appliance, and fixture repairs Troubleshoot heating and other residential building-system issues Complete apartment turnovers, punch-list work, and property improvements Perform preventive maintenance and identify problems before they become emergencies Respond to resident maintenance requests professionally and respectfully Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas Document completed work, materials used, and recommended follow-up Coordinate with property managers, other technicians, and outside contractors Participate in a rotating emergency on-call schedule What We're Looking For The most important qualification is pride in your work.
You should be someone who:
Wants repairs completed correctly the first time Enjoys diagnosing the cause of a problem—not just treating the symptom Can work independently and make sound decisions in the field Takes ownership of assignments through completion Notices details other people may overlook Communicates professionally with residents and coworkers Understands when a repair requires a licensed specialist Qualifications At least 3 years of hands-on property maintenance, apartment maintenance, construction, or related trade experience Working knowledge of multiple residential building trades Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to complete common residential repairs independently Valid driver's license and safe driving record Ability to use a smartphone and mobile work-order system Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds and perform the physical duties of the position Availability for a rotating emergency on-call schedule Experience with multifamily properties, plumbing, heating, electrical, carpentry, appliances, or apartment turnovers is especially valuable. Trade licenses are appreciated but are not required for the right experienced candidate. What We Offer $28-$35 per hour, based on demonstrated experience and capabilities Company-provided vehicle for work Paid holidays Full-time, year-round employment A varied workday across different properties and repair types The opportunity to work independently and use your full range of skills Room for increased responsibility as the company grows Schedule Full-time Primarily Monday through Friday Rotating emergency on-call coverage Occasional evening or weekend work when property conditions require it How to Apply Please submit your résumé or a summary of your relevant experience. In your application, briefly describe a difficult maintenance problem you diagnosed and how you solved it. We are looking for an experienced technician who wants to be trusted, take ownership of their work, and be proud of what they accomplish at the end of each day.Pay:
