Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs on a variety of equipment. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure continuous operation. Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime. Install, maintain, and repair appliances such as ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and other commercial kitchen equipment. Operate company vehicles safely for on-site service calls or equipment transportation as needed. Conduct inspections of mechanical systems and identify potential issues before they escalate; document findings thoroughly. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex problems involving HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems and mechanical components. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and repair logs in compliance with operational standards. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, and mechanical systems repair. Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams effectively. Knowledge of HVAC & appliance technology with hands-on experience in HVAC/R systems is essential. Mechanical knowledge related to construction experience or equipment maintenance is highly desirable. Skilled in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical systems repair with attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), including equipment repair and appliance installation. Valid driver's license with the ability to operate company vehicles safely. Leadership qualities that support teamwork and mentorship within maintenance operations are a plus. $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
