Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shower Door Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and customizing shower doors and enclosures to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations. Your expertise will help transform bathrooms into functional and stylish spaces, contributing to our reputation for excellence in home improvement and renovation projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity for hands-on work with a variety of tools and materials, supporting your growth in the construction industry. Responsibilities Measure bathroom spaces accurately to determine the appropriate shower door size and style, utilizing blueprint reading and schematics. Install shower doors, frames, glass panels, and hardware using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques. Perform precise caulking, sealing, and trim carpentry to ensure waterproofing and aesthetic appeal. Read blueprints and schematics to follow installation instructions and technical specifications. Handle heavy lifting of glass panels and framing materials safely while adhering to safety protocols. Use construction estimating skills to assess project scope, materials required, and timeframes for each installation. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and ensuring job site safety at all times. Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving carpentry, fabrication, or remodeling tasks to achieve seamless results. Skills Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and metal stud framing equipment necessary for precise installations. Experience with glass installation techniques including handling large panels safely and accurately. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and fixture or cabinet installation procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining balance and control during installations. Skilled in caulking, construction painting, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, door hanging, and remodeling processes Familiarity with construction estimating to evaluate project requirements effectively.
