Job Description

Crystal Springs Resort is seeking Maintenance Technicians to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems, equipment, and structures across the property.
Essential Functions:
Maintain, repair, and improve all operational systems throughout the property, including hotel rooms, pools, kitchens, sports club, and all associated mechanical systems, furnishings, and equipment Troubleshoot and repair equipment using proper tools in a skilled, craftsman-like manner across the resort Perform assigned maintenance tasks as directed Respond to routine maintenance calls in a timely manner Complete daily shift logs to communicate all work performed to management Conduct regular property inspections to ensure proper operation of all equipment and identify issues proactively Interact with guests and team members in a professional, friendly, and service-oriented manner Respond promptly and appropriately to guest concerns and resolve issues before they impact the guest experience Promote positive guest, employee, and public relations at all times Ensure quality, consistency, and proper functioning of guest rooms, grounds, mechanical systems, and resort services Safeguard assigned keys and master keys responsibly Assist with additional projects and duties as assigned Attend meetings as required Follow all safety and security procedures to protect guests, team members, and company assets Maintain cleanliness and proper working condition of all tools, equipment, and work areas Ensure reliable attendance based on business needs and scheduling requirements
Requirements:
Strong technical knowledge in general maintenance or a related skilled trade Experience with light carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, heating systems, and grounds maintenance preferred High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required Valid driver s license required at time of hire Weekend and holiday availability required
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
Work requires a combination of technical skill, manual dexterity, and coordination (including tools, equipment operation, and documentation tasks) Frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and transporting materials or equipment (often over 30 lbs) Exposure to varying environmental conditions including dirt, noise, odors, temperature extremes, and outdoor work environments Work may involve uneven, slippery, or unstable surfaces Schedule may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs Role includes occupational and ergonomic risks including lifting, repetitive motion, forceful exertion, and awkward positions Must follow all safety policies and procedures at all times May require travel between resort locations Enjoy Crystal Springs Employee Perks!
