Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support four properties within our Morris County, NJ portfolio. This role is ideal for a versatile technician who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working across different communities. You will be responsible for completing maintenance requests, performing repairs, assisting with turnovers, and supporting property teams as needed. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance and repair tasks across multiple residential properties
  • Complete work orders efficiently and with high-quality workmanship
  • Support apartment turnovers including painting, repairs, and preparation for move-ins
  • Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues
  • Conduct patching, plastering, and painting throughout common areas and units
  • Perform tile and flooring repairs
  • Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal or outdoor upkeep
  • Communicate with Property Managers to prioritize daily tasks
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in: Plumbing Carpentry Tiling & floor repair Electrical (basic to intermediate) Painting & plastering High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience will also be considered Strong oral and written communication skills required.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Strong time management and ability to work independently Ability to troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions Reliable transportation to travel between Morris County properties Ability to lift 40+ lbs. and perform physical maintenance tasks Must have basic hand tools necessary to complete day-to-day maintenance tasks. Specialized tools and equipment will be provided by the company as needed. Valid driver's license Preferred (Not Required) Certifications While these are not required, the following licenses/certifications are a strong plus: Black Seal Low Pressure Boiler License (NJ) EPA 608 Certification (HVAC/Refrigerant Handling) OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Any NJ-recognized maintenance or building operations training

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
