Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support four properties within our Morris County, NJ portfolio. This role is ideal for a versatile technician who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working across different communities. You will be responsible for completing maintenance requests, performing repairs, assisting with turnovers, and supporting property teams as needed. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks across multiple residential properties
- Complete work orders efficiently and with high-quality workmanship
- Support apartment turnovers including painting, repairs, and preparation for move-ins
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues
- Conduct patching, plastering, and painting throughout common areas and units
- Perform tile and flooring repairs
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal or outdoor upkeep
- Communicate with Property Managers to prioritize daily tasks
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety procedures
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in: Plumbing Carpentry Tiling & floor repair Electrical (basic to intermediate) Painting & plastering High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience will also be considered Strong oral and written communication skills required.
