Maintenance Technician Direct Hire | 1st Shift | New Jersey We are partnering with a growing manufacturing company to identify a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join their team on a direct-hire basis. This is a first-shift opportunity supporting manufacturing equipment, automation systems, and facility maintenance in a fast-paced production environment.

Position Overview:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of electromechanical equipment used within a manufacturing setting. This role requires someone who is comfortable working with both mechanical and electrical systems and enjoys solving problems to keep equipment running efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment and automated systems. Diagnose equipment issues and perform corrective maintenance to minimize downtime. Work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated equipment. Support equipment improvements and modifications as needed. Assist with wiring, sensors, actuators, and control systems. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. Support general facility maintenance activities as needed. Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability and performance.

Desired Background/Skills:

High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience troubleshooting electromechanical equipment. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
