Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this vital role, you will ensure the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment throughout our community. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for residents and staff alike. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools. Conduct appliance repairs and installations, ensuring optimal performance of appliances such as refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, and laundry equipment. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Assist with construction projects or upgrades related to mechanical systems as needed. Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime and ensure resident safety. Experience Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance mechanic with a focus on HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or appliance repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams. Experience with HVAC system repair, air conditioning units, kitchen equipment maintenance, and appliance installation. Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) procedures within a healthcare or senior living environment preferred. Ability to operate tools and equipment safely. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and residents. Leadership qualities that support team collaboration and problem-solving in fast-paced situations.
