This position requires previous experience involved with maintenance procedures in a manufacturing environment. Specific Responsibilities Operate/maintain and clean Front-End Loader and aggregate drying equipment Material handling Manual labor (Shoveling wet feed) Maintain, repair and overhaul all production machinery and equipment Must have 3 years' experience as a technician Must have experience with 3 phase 480 Strong electrical/electronic knowledge preferred Experience in AC Drives, Motors, Starters, VFD's Fabrication, Welding (Mig, Stick) Maintain and repair buildings and grounds Installs, relocates or removes machinery and equipment Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical systems Complies with PM log records on all PM work done Initiates requests for maintenance supplies, spare parts and tools Selects the proper lubricants for machinery and equipment Comply with all safety rules and regulations at all times Perform housekeeping duties in the maintenance area and in areas worked in Required to personally provide basic tools and will be responsible for the safekeeping of all company and personal tools used Other duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications Front-end loader experience required Forklift experience required Must be a high school graduate or equivalent Must be in good physical condition Must be able to operate and work around industrial machinery Cannot be afraid of heights or enclosed spaces Must be able to wear respirators, safety glasses, and or hearing protection in required areas Must be able to work with others with limited supervision Must be able to take direction in a manufacturing environment with ever changing demands Working Conditions Varying weather conditions in the local area include, temperature extremes, dust, rain, wind, and snow Exposure to gasoline, diesel fuel, motor oils, anti-freeze, cement dust, and electrical systems Hearing protection and respiratory use required in designated locations Requires the physical endurance to work 50-60 hours per week over a period of 5 to 7 days Requires the ability to climb heights (steps, ladders, and ramp walkways with handrails) Physical Capabilities Legs, feet, body and trunk are constantly used to stand, walk, turn, and twist upper body Requires the ability to constantly use hands and arms to reach, grasp, finger, and feel Hands, arms, legs, feet body and trunk are occasionally used to climb heights up to 100 feet Legs, feet, body and trunk are intermittently used to sit, squat, crouch/stoop and bend It is intermittently required to carry, lift/lower, and push/pull up to 100lbs Must have good vision and hearing (corrected if necessary) Must be able to handle the psychological stress of extended work hours, production demands, and equipment breakdowns or malfunctions Cannot be colorblind This is an industrial environment, requires attention to SAFETY, physical dexterity, and intermittently required to use hands, arms, legs, feet and body.
