Maintenance Mechanic Roller Bearing Company of America, Inc - 3.0 Trenton, NJ Job Details 13 hours ago Qualifications Manufacturing facility experience Factory experience Full Job Description Adhere to Safety, Health and Environmental (SH&E) policies and procedures. Responsible for the completion of Hot Work, Line Break, Lock, Tag & Try, contractor work permits and other SH&E permits. Maintain a questioning attitude to ensure a safe work environment. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Work Instructions. Complete necessary forms, charts etc, to document the process. Respond appropriately to process variations. Ability to safely work with hazardous materials. Daily inspection of equipment. Troubleshoot equipment as needed and perform preventative maintenance Ability to work in a team environment and move to where the work is required. Train co-workers on the job tasks as required. Perform housekeeping and 5S. Operate forklift and other motorized transportation equipment as necessary. Communicate the status of the operation to the shift following. Report to his/her workstation on time in order to receive operation status from previous shift. Attendance at work is an essential function of the job.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing plant ' Experience with welding, electrical and mechanical work.
SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS
