Our site, Albéa Washington is specialized in manufacturing Laminate & Plastic Tubes for Cosmetics, Personal Care & Pharmaceutical Markets. Scope Carry out corrective, planned and unplanned maintenance to have the machines and equipment running optimally in the plant. Main activities
- Take care of your own safety and that of your peers through compliance with safety standards.
- Perform repairs to equipment quickly and efficiently.
- Generator of effective solutions.
- Minimize line stoppages by equipment and downed machines.
- Track problems and correct equipment and machine failures.
- Participate in continuous improvement programs.
- Implementation and operation of 5s in the areas where they work with the repair of the machines.
- Report maintenance times performed.
- Comply with company rules and policies.
- Communicate effectively with your supervisor to review the expectations of your daily work.
- Comply with the preventive maintenance program.
- Filling and proper handling of work orders. Accountability including KPIs Safety & Compliance
- Zero safety violations recorded during work shifts.
- 100% compliance with PPE and safety standards.
- Active participation in monthly safety audits or toolbox talks. Production Continuity
- Line stoppage minutes per week/month attributable to equipment issues.
- % uptime of assigned machines (availability metric). Preventive Maintenance Compliance
- % of preventive maintenance tasks completed on schedule.
- % reduction in corrective maintenance due to preventive actions.
Education:
- Mechanical Technician, Electromechanical Technician, or technical career.
- Eligible candidates may receive 100% tuition coverage through Albea.
Experience:
- Minimum voucher of 2 years as a maintenance technician.
Skills:
- Mechanical systems experience, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and work orders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
