As a Maintenance Mechanic you will apply your skills to maintaining our vehicles and machinery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
: Repair, overhaul, diagnose problems and maintain company vehicles Administer preventative maintenance programs and perform scheduled maintenance Track, schedule and perform DOT inspections Track and schedule diesel emissions tests Order replacement parts to repair company vehicles Perform all maintenance, repairs, brake jobs, etc. on company cars, trucks, trailers, and forklifts Inspect, maintain and repair safety related items Repair flat tires on both cars, trucks, and trailers Maintain field tools; inspect incoming tools for defective parts to replace or repair Clean and perform maintenance on tools; Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, pulleys and other parts of machines Repair and maintain machinery equipment Inspect machinery and mechanical equipment for defective parts and replace or repair drive non CDL truck for parts pick-up and road testing of vehicles as requested Always work in a safe manner Comply with all company policies, procedures, safety rules, and regulations Other duties as assigned by supervisor
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience in maintenance and repair of vehicles, machinery, equipment, and electrical systems Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform diverse maintenance tasks Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to maintenance work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including welding equipment A valid driver's license and a CLEAN motor vehicle record Bonland Industries is an equal opportunity employer that offers a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits plan including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, FSA, matching 401K, and a great company culture!
