Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Handyman for an immediate hire in Las Vegas, NV! This is a great temp-to-hire opportunity with steady full-time hours working at a hotel property in the downtown Las Vegas area.
PAY:
$25.00/hr. (based upon experience)
HOURS:
Expected shifts will be 8-hour days starting at 8:00 AM
SCHEDULE
8 am to 4 pm Monday - Friday

Handyman Job Description:
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for performing a wide variety of maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance duties for a hotel property. This position will support the overall upkeep of the facility, including plumbing, carpentry, equipment repairs, and general property maintenance while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Qualifications for
Maintenance Engineer:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent maintenance experience preferred
- Experience performing general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, and equipment repairs
- Ability to diagnose problems, repair or replace parts, and perform preventative maintenance
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely
- Ability to identify faulty operations or defective materials and report issues to management
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate professionally via radio
- Must maintain clean and organized work areas and follow all safety procedures
- Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE
- Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, balancing, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors around moving mechanical parts, heights, heat, electrical equipment, and varying weather conditions
Additional Requirements for
Maintenance Engineer:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation to the job site
