Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks and repairs to ensure the smooth operation of our apartments. This role requires a strong understanding of building systems and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate must have experience with:

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing typical items in a home or apartment
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure that tenants are given first rate service.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work completed, materials used, and any issues that arose during the process.

Qualifications:

Ability to diagnose, and repair sticking, tough to open/close doors Ability to replace doors Ability to repair broken cabinet drawers/doors Ability to replace, or install ceiling fans Ability to diagnose and repair faucet/shower supply cartridges Ability to repair or replace bi-pass or bi-fold closet doors Ability to clean out rain gutters and do water leak patch on a roof Ability to diagnose garbage disposal not working and able to replace if needed Ability to light water heater Ability to diagnose, and replace thermocouple on water heater Ability to diagnose minor HVAC problems Ability to troubleshoot minor electrical problems Ability to read and use multi-meter Ability to adjust blinds to proper length Ability to change out electrical outlet/switches Ability to replace light fixtures Ability to do paint and minor drywall repair Own basic maintenance tools (cordless drill, drill bits, water key, multi-meter, saw, 4'ladder, basic hand tools, small socket set, 4' level, torpedo level, allen wrenches, outlet tester, electrical power tester, paint brush).
