Job Description

At Percy, we're building new ways to connect talented professionals with meaningful career opportunities at leading companies in the multifamily industry. We're currently seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support operations at a well-run student housing community near the University of Nevada, Reno in Reno, NV. This role is a strong fit for someone with a maintenance, construction, or trades background who wants a long-term career path, not just a job. You'll join a supportive onsite team at a 100+ unit, 300+ bed community, with a clear growth ladder from technician to supervisor and beyond. HVAC experience is a plus, and certification support may be available for the right candidate. If you'd like to be considered, please submit a resume for review. Responsibilities Complete day-to-day maintenance work orders across apartments and common areas Support unit turns in a fast-paced student housing environment Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances (based on skill level) Participate in a rotational on-call schedule (approximately one weekend per month) Maintain a clean, safe shop and follow property safety standards Qualifications 1+ year of maintenance, construction, or trades experience Ability to work a rotational on-call schedule (about one weekend per month) HVAC experience preferred; certifications (EPA/HVAC/CPO) are a plus but not required Reliable, coachable, and team-oriented with strong follow-through Comfortable working in an occupied student housing setting and during turn season Perks Total compensation range: Competitive hourly pay plus bonus potential (rate confirmed during the process) Certification support available for
