Job Description
Maintenance Technician Pay:
$27.15-$33.90 per hourShift:
6:30 AM-3:00 PM Nesco Resource is hiring an experienced Advanced Maintenance Technician! This hands-on position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills and experience working with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic systems. Key Responsibilities Install machinery and equipment using blueprints, layout plans, hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools. Calibrate, align, and adjust production equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Repair, maintain, install, and improve manufacturing equipment. Fabricate or machine components using lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other shop equipment. Complete preventive maintenance and maintain accurate maintenance logs. Assist with maintenance projects and repairs throughout the facility. Work around production schedules as needed. Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and Hot Work requirements. Qualifications Five to ten years of maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing. Vocational degree or equivalent training in machine repair, millwright work, or field machining. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and millwright systems. Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Welding, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC knowledge is preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Forklift certification or willingness to become certified after hire. Availability for occasional overtime or emergency call-ins. Physical and Work Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Comfortable working from ladders or man lifts. Ability to work in confined spaces and occasional extreme heat or cold.
