$66,000-$76,000 per year

Direct Hire Nesco Resource is hiring an experienced Maintenance Manager! We are seeking a hands-on leader to oversee maintenance operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for leading the maintenance team, reducing equipment downtime, managing preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring the facility and equipment operate safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Supervise, coach, and coordinate the daily work of maintenance technicians. Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules and programs. Oversee troubleshooting and repairs involving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Assist technicians with complex repairs using a hands-on approach. Coordinate maintenance priorities with production and department managers. Oversee facility maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, buildings, and grounds. Manage spare-parts inventory, purchasing, vendors, contractors, and service agreements. Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation. Identify improvements that increase equipment reliability and reduce operating costs. Promote safety and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies. Coordinate fleet maintenance and safety. Respond to urgent equipment or facility issues when needed. Qualifications At least five years of maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing. At least five years of supervisory or maintenance leadership experience. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Demonstrated troubleshooting and equipment-repair abilities. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and manufacturing-related systems. Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and maintenance regulations. Associate degree in industrial maintenance, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred. Must be available by phone and occasionally in person for urgent after-hours situations. Physical Requirements This position may require standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and working around manufacturing equipment.
