Maintenance Planning & Preventive Maintenance Develop and maintain an organized maintenance tracking and preventive maintenance program for equipment and facilities across both locations. Inventory and document manufacturing equipment and facility assets requiring routine maintenance. Create and maintain equipment histories, preventive maintenance schedules, inspection checklists, and service records. Establish maintenance schedules based on equipment manuals, manufacturer recommendations, operating history, and production requirements. Identify opportunities to improve maintenance tracking and recommend appropriate CMMS or maintenance management tools as the program develops. Hands-On Maintenance & Facility Support Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure within the employee's training, qualifications, and level of authorization. Coordinate qualified outside service providers when specialized repairs or technical expertise are required. Support the maintenance and upkeep of buildings, equipment, and facility systems across both locations. Identify maintenance concerns and help prioritize repairs to minimize equipment downtime and operational disruptions. Maintenance Tracking & Documentation Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, equipment downtime, preventive maintenance completion, and recurring issues. Document maintenance work, service history, and related information to support equipment reliability and future maintenance planning. Assist management in developing and tracking maintenance metrics, including equipment downtime, preventive maintenance completion, repeat repairs, and response times. Vendor & Contractor Coordination Coordinate with equipment manufacturers, service providers, contractors, and suppliers for technical support, parts, repairs, and scheduled maintenance. Obtain repair and service estimates and provide recommendations to management when appropriate. Assist with scheduling outside service work to minimize disruption to operations. Equipment Support & Training Help develop equipment inspection and maintenance checklists and procedures. Provide guidance to employees on basic equipment care, routine maintenance, and issue-reporting procedures as assigned. Support efforts to improve employee awareness of proper equipment operation and preventive maintenance practices. Promote a proactive maintenance culture focused on identifying and addressing issues before they result in equipment failures. Qualifications Technical aptitude and hands-on experience performing maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, or other related technical work. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to learn and understand manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and maintenance requirements. Ability to read and follow equipment manuals, maintenance documentation, and technical instructions. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills, including the ability to maintain maintenance logs, schedules, checklists, and documentation. Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance needs across two facilities. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while recognizing when additional assistance or specialized expertise is required. Willingness to learn new equipment, maintenance systems, and technical skills. Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, building, equipment, or general maintenance. Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Experience supporting CNC, fabrication, welding, machining, composite, or other production equipment. Experience with preventive maintenance programs, maintenance tracking systems, or CMMS software. Relevant technical training or certifications in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, welding, machining, or related fields. Requirements U.S. Citizenship required. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Salary Range:

$30.00 per hour - $35.00 per hour This is an estimated salary range with any actual compensation offers to be dependent upon factors including experience, skill set, qualifications, and other factors allowed by law.
