We're seeking an individual for an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician position.

Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm We offer a very competitive pay commensurate with experience, and a 401K . As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for completing any/all service requests for common areas and apartment repairs in the space of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and appliances. The Apartment Maintenance Technician reports to the maintenance supervisor or property manager and requires attention to detail and the ability to follow directions which are both critical to ensure the satisfaction of the community's residents. General Job Duties

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, hot water tanks.
• Change bulbs, locks/keys, smoke detectors, and carbon detectors.
• Must be able to install and repair appliances.
• Diagnosing and repairing faulty equipment
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or greater and climb a ladder Apartment Maintenance Technician Requirements
• Previous Maintenance Technician Experience preferred
• Have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability individual who demonstrates professionalism, people skills, be able to work independently, or well with others and take direction when needed.
• Participate in after-hours On Call rotation with other maintenance department team members plus additional compensation.
• Attention to details, able to identify and diagnose problems or areas requiring repair.
• Have dependable transportation to and from work
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
