The Senior Maintenance Technician serves as the technical lead for maintenance activities for equipment operations at the site. This role is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and supporting the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance across production and packaging equipment. The Senior Technician works closely with the Maintenance & Reliability Manager and production teams to ensure equipment uptime, support operational needs, and mentor other technicians.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Safety & Compliance Follow all safety procedures and ensure work is performed safely. Use appropriate PPE and comply with company policies. Support safe work practices during maintenance and repair activities. Follow lockout/tag out (LOTO) procedures before performing maintenance repair Advanced Troubleshooting & Repair Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production equipment. Serve as the primary technical resource for difficult or recurring equipment problems. Support rapid response to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime. PLC Troubleshooting and diagnostics Servo Motors and servo drive (VFDS) AC/DC Motors, including troubleshooting, Maintenance and repair Preventive Maintenance & Reliability Execute and support preventive maintenance programs. Identify and recommend improvements to increase equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Technical Leadership & Mentoring Provide day-to-day technical guidance to maintenance technicians
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
