Industrial Maintenance Technician Summary:
Our location in Smyrna, NY is looking to add a Maintenance Technician to the team. This position would work with a small maintenance crew, performing preventative maintenance in a production environment. This is a full time opportunity working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer.Industrial Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of manufacturing. Troubleshoots and repairs as needed Applies knowledge of electrical/electronics and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation. Other duties/responsibilities may be assignedIndustrial Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
A 2 year degree/certificate in electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields is preferred and a HS Diploma is required. Any welding or mechanical work is a plus Experience with maintenance of forklifts required Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment, and especially must be able to interface and communicate with line operators in order to assist with repairs and troubleshooting.Industrial Maintenance Technician Pay & Benefits:
Competitive Pay Minimum -Anticipated Maximum Salary:
$16.00/hr. - $22.00/hr Full Plan of Benefits Monday-Friday, weekends as needed- The advertised pay range represents what Baillie Lumber Co. believes we would anticipate paying for this position. It is not typical for an individual to be compensated at the top of the range for a position as candidates must possess experience and qualifications that far exceed the requirements.
