Are you a skilled problem-solver who takes pride in keeping facilities running at their best? We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be a vital part of protecting and enhancing our center's value. From hands-on structural repairs to critical preventative maintenance, your work will directly impact our daily operations, customer satisfaction, and overall profitability. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):Keep Operations Running Smoothly:
Perform interior and exterior repairs, including drywall installation, painting, flooring, masonry patching, roofing, parking decks and structural touch-ups.Preventative Maintenance:
Maintain crucial facility HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems (sprinklers, extinguishers) to prevent downtime.Customer & Team Support:
Provide friendly assistance to customers on-site and maintain clear communication with your supervisor regarding equipment's health.Contractor Liaison:
Assist and coordinate with external contractors when specialized repairs are underway.What We're Looking For:
Experience:
Hands-on experience in general building maintenance or equivalent trade background (BOCES training or similar in general HVAC/maintenance is highly preferred).Skills:
Solid basic plumbing skills and comfort handling routine HVAC preventative maintenance.Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.Traits:
A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and zero supervisory experience required-just a strong work ethic. Perks of theRole:
