As a Maintenance Technician/Engineer, you'll help ensure the hotel's facilities, equipment, and grounds are maintained to high quality and safety standards, supporting an excellent guest experience and a safe working environment for all team members. Key Responsibilities Guest Service & Communication Respond to and handle guest and department radio requests in a courteous, efficient, and safe manner. Follow up to ensure issues are resolved and support 100% guest satisfaction . Preventative Maintenance & Repairs Perform preventative maintenance (PM) assignments on a scheduled basis and complete required checklists. Complete general maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment and building systems are operating properly throughout the property. Support timely completion of work orders and ensure maintenance priorities are addressed proactively. Safety, Security, and Emergency Preparedness Ensure safety and security practices are followed for all guests and associates; identify hazards, risks, and potential liability issues and take appropriate corrective action. Support emergency response readiness and assist with training and awareness, including (but not limited to): Water shut-off valve locations and procedures Fire/life safety procedures Locations of electrical panels and other critical building controls Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, and Controls Support loss prevention and asset protection initiatives to protect hotel property and resources. Maintain inventory controls for maintenance supplies, tools, parts, and equipment; assist with ordering, tracking, and organization. Support and enforce key control management policies and procedures. Performance & Standards Drive service scores and maintenance/upkeep scores to meet and preferably exceed Marriott and Lixi Group standards. Other duties as assigned Requirements Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred, but not required Must be able to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends Basic knowledge of painting, drywall, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing required General knowledge of machines and basic hand and power tools Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy Ability to stand, walk, and move around during the entire shift Must be able to lift, push, and pull items up to 50 pounds Ability to comprehend English sufficiently to understand labels/instructions, receive job assignments, communicate progress/completion, and respond to basic guest requests

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
