Work Location:
In-person role based in Windham, NY.
Seasonal Position:
This role is available for the winter season.
Pay:
25 per hour for entry level
Anticipated Start Dates:
•This start date is weather dependent
Scheduling Expectations:
This position typically works 12-hour shifts from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Depending on operational needs, extended hours may occasionally be required, including working until approximately midnight to resolve equipment failures or other urgent issues. Overnight shifts and on-call availability may be required as needed. Peak production periods often occur on weekends, early mornings, and holidays. Candidates must be flexible and available to work weekends to support business operations.
Conditions:
Are you comfortable working at heights and during nights? Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain, sleet, snow, hail, wind, and cold temperatures.
Position Summary:
Do you love being outdoors and solving mechanical problems? As a Lift Maintenance Mechanic at Windham Mountain Club, no two days are the same. You'll help maintain, inspect, and repair our lift systems, ensuring safe and reliable operations for both guests and team members. This hands-on role includes troubleshooting equipment, working outdoors, and participating in on-call and sometimes overnight work. Key Responsibilities:
Level 1
Lift Maintenance Job Requirements:
Assists with lift maintenance and repairs under supervision. Performs routine inspections and maintenance tasks. Uses tools and equipment safely and effectively. Supports team projects and operational needs. Develops knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Learns industry standards, procedures, and best practices. Assists with specialized maintenance activities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to stand, stoop, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly for an entire work shift. Must have mechanical and/or electrical aptitude, skills and experience. Must be comfortable working from heights.
Physical Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, stooping, and squatting throughout a shift. Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude and experience preferred. Comfortable working at heights.
