Job Description
We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our farm operations team. This role plays an important part in supporting the health and well-being of our hens by keeping farm equipment, systems, and facilities operating safely and efficiently. You'll work alongside a collaborative team to monitor, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and replace electrical and mechanical equipment throughout the farm. What You'll Do Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment Perform general facility and building repairs Work with plumbing, heating, air conditioning, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Complete preventative and corrective maintenance Maintain equipment and systems inside barns and throughout outdoor farm areas Accurately complete required maintenance documentation Use technology to track repairs, maintenance activities, and work progress Work independently while also supporting the broader maintenance and farm operations teams Qualifications Previous experience repairing equipment and facilities is required Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Experience with plumbing, heating, A/C, and general building repairs Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Positive, dependable, "can-do" attitude Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed Specialized experience or advanced skills in a particular maintenance trade are a plus Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required Schedule Full-time 40+ hours per week Typical start time around 7:00 AM Primarily Monday through Friday Rotating weekend coverage required Overtime may be required as needed
