Maintenance Tech 2 &3 Trak Group - 3.9 Cincinnati, OH Job Details $28 - $35 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Inspection tools Specialized industrial tools Shop math Measuring instruments Computer skills Power tools Technical troubleshooting support Equipment testing Hand tools Full Job Description Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of machine tools, attachments, and auxiliary equipment. Diagnose equipment failures and perform repairs, replacements, alignments, and adjustments. Fabricate replacement parts such as shafts, pins, and bushings. Perform basic cutting and welding activities. Conduct preventative maintenance and complex troubleshooting activities. Install and maintain electrical components including motors, starters, lighting circuits, power circuits, and breakers. Troubleshoot electrical systems, including solid-state controls. Diagnose and repair computer-controlled manufacturing equipment. Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document maintenance activities in the maintenance system. Coordinate with outside vendors and suppliers for technical services and replacement parts. Perform minor building maintenance repairs as needed. Assist in training and mentoring Maintenance Tech I employees, apprentices, and new team members. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Support 6S initiatives and all company safety programs. Perform all Maintenance Tech I duties as required. Complete additional duties as assigned. Requirements Apprenticeship completion or 5+ years of relevant maintenance experience. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, testing instruments, and precision measuring devices. Working knowledge of machine tools, methods, materials, and maintenance practices. Ability to perform shop mathematics and work from charts, tables, formulas, and technical documentation. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Comfortable working at heights. Ability to lift, move, and manipulate up to 35 lbs. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Must meet PIE requirements to operate equipment. Commitment to continuous learning and technical development.
