Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Support Services team. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining the facility's operations by performing general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service to staff members, addressing inquiries, requests, and concerns in a prompt and professional manner. Act as a point of contact for staff relocation needs, coordinating moves and ensuring a smooth transition to new workspaces.
Facility Maintenance:
Organize, stock, and maintain facility supplies and equipment to support the achievement of business goals and objectives. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, painting, and minor repairs, to ensure the cleanliness and functionality of the facility. Assist with facility renovations, upgrades, and reconfigurations as needed.
Equipment Maintenance:
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify issues or potential problems and implement preventive maintenance measures to minimize downtime.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to facility operations and maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Skills:
Proficient with maintenance tools and equipment. Knowledge of safety and compliance standards. Basic familiarity with email and work order systems.
Licenses:
Valid driver's license (fewer than two points preferred).
Certifications:
CPR/First Aid certification (Company Sponsored).
